George Zimmerman Arrested

George Zimmerman just can’t seem to stay out of the news. On Nov. 18, police reportedly responded to a domestic incident at George’s house and arrested him. After allegedly sticking a shotgun in his girlfriend’s face, the controversial figure was charged with aggravated assault, battery, domestic violence, and criminal mischief.

George Zimmerman is back in police custody after being arrested in a reported domestic violence incident in Orlando, Fla. on Nov. 18.

George Zimmerman Arrested Again

After being let off the hook in the heavily-publicized, controversial shooting of Trayvon Martin, you’d think Zimmerman would do everything in his power to stay out of trouble. Apparently not.

Police in Orlando arrested Zimmerman after responding to a domestic incident at about 1:30 p.m., according to the Orlando Sentinel. Zimmerman’s girlfriend accused him of pointing a shotgun at her, according to CNN. He was taken to Seminole County Jail in Sanford, Fla. and hit with a slew of charges — aggravated assault, battery, domestic violence, and criminal mischief.

George Zimmerman’s Legal Troubles Continue

Since being found not guilty in the Trayvon Martin case, Zimmerman has struggled to stay out of the news. On Sept. 9, he was taken in for questioning by police after his wife, Shellie, claimed he threatened her life. According to Shellie, Zimmerman had a gun in his hand while he was fighting with her, and she feared for her life. However, Zimmerman was released after Shellie decided not to press charges.

She did decide to file for divorce on Sept. 5 though. And considering Zimmerman’s well-documented history of violence — especially of the domestic variety — it was likely the right decision for Shellie. Unfortunately, it seems he may have now directed his aggression towards someone else.

Stay tuned for more updates on Zimmerman’s latest arrest.
