The Lady Antebellum singer waited until her daughter was born so that she could meet her before deciding on her name. The magical moment when Hillary first saw her little girl’s face was when she knew what her musical name should be.
Hillary Scott‘s 4-month-old daughter Eisele Kaye doesn’t have the most conventional out there, but the new mom revealed that the inspiration behind the moniker is so special to the entire family!
Hillary Scott Daughter’s Name: Lady Antebellum Explains Eisele’s Inspired Name
Hillary decided to base her baby’s name off of her first meeting with her, rather than deciding on it ahead of the girl’s July 22 birth. “I had felt like the instant I saw her, I would know exactly what her name was — there would be no question,” Hillary told People.
Hillary and her husband Chris Tyrrell felt the same way about the decision — and it all worked out as they wanted!
“She had probably been out of the womb 20 to 30 minutes before we decided for sure. After she was born, I was looking at Chris going, ‘What’s her name?!’” she says. “Once he said it, then I knew. I had felt that all along, but I needed him to feel it too.”
The name didn’t come completely out of the blue, though — Eisele Kaye combines Hillary’s mother’s maiden name and Chris’ mom’s middle name!
Hillary Scott Loves Daughter’s ‘Musical’ Sounding Name
Of course, the singer appreciates the musical quality of the name “Eisele Kaye.”
“We love how it sounds kind of musical, it has a sing-song sound to it,” Hillary explained to People. “It floats in a pretty, musical way.”
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Do you think Eisele’s name inspiration is pretty?
