Ouch! A day after Matt Barnes was ejected from the Los Angeles Clippers’ game on Nov. 13 and subsequently unleashed a Twitter rant against his teammates, he was profusely apologizing. That turnaround didn’t take long!

Matt Barnes, 33, is eating his words. The outspoken baller surprisingly went after his teammates on Twitter following his fight with Oklahoma Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka, 24, on Nov. 13, but just a day later he was backpedaling.

After shoving Serge and getting thrown out of the game, Matt rushed to Twitter — while the game was still going on — and threw his teammates under the bus. He even dropped a racial slur. The notoriously hot tempered baller took to Twitter writing, “I love my teammates like family, but I’m DONE standing up for these ——! All this s**t does is cost me money.”

Matt was certainly right about his last comment. The NBA fined Matt for $25,000 for the altercation.

But Matt has since deleted the nasty tweets and he’s moved on from ranting to repenting. Check out the tweets below!

It’s good to hear Matt is recognizing how wrong he was to lash out at his teammates — and to use such bad language. At least he’s able to learn from his mistakes, and we’re sure the Clippers appreciate his mea cupla.
