The face of Miss Dior did a phenomenal job representing the brand in a stunning strapless gown. Did you love her look?
Jennifer Lawrence looked radiant on the red carpet in an ivory frock from the Dior Fall 2013 Couture collection when she arrived at the Catching Fire premiere at the Rome Film Festival on Nov. 14. While she is wearing a lot of Dior on her promotional tour, the brand really suits her — and she is the face of Miss Dior, after all! While I’ve liked her outfits so far, the structured silhouette of the ivory gown is exactly what I wanted to see on Jennifer.
Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Catching Fire’ Rome Film Festival Dress:
While I appreciate the star’s versatile sense of style and the way she experiments with a variety of silhouettes, I was dying to see her in something that really highlighted her figure — and this gown is just perfect. Not only is the structured style so high-fashion, but the silhouette sets it apart and it’s so much better than a basic ball gown. Given Jennifer’s personal sense of style, I think this different look suits her.
The wrap-around bodice of the gown draped over her figure perfectly and really highlighted her frame, while the high-low hem added the perfect touch — and allowed her gold sandals to really shine! Despite the fact that the detailing on the dress makes it look like the 23-year-old star spilled something on her stunning ensemble, I’m a major fan of this look.
A watermelon lip added a pop of color to the ensemble while she wore her hair back. The look is so breathtaking I think it’s actually the first time her new pixie cut didn’t overshadow her get-up, and the way she styled her hair solidified this perfect premiere look. She paired the ensemble with minimal jewels.
What do you think? Are you impressed with Jennifer’s dress or are you getting bored of seeing her in Dior?
