Finally, some positive news about the Biebs: During a private listening session for his upcoming album on Nov. 12, R. Kelly confirmed that he recorded a track with Justin Bieber — and apparently, ‘it’s hot!’
Justin Bieber, 19, performing with R. Kelly, 46, should be a no-brainer. The two smooth vocalists seem destined to create lyrical magic together, so we were thrilled to learn that their first collaboration will be released next week!

Justin has been on fire with his Music Mondays lately, so when he cryptically tweeted the words “they’re not ready” to Drake and R. Kelly a couple of weeks back, we were hopeful that a collaboration between the three would be coming soon to a Monday near you. It didn’t quite work out that way, but we’re still more than excited for Justin’s one-on-one collaboration with R. Kelly.
“I just did a song [with him],” R. Kelly told Vibe on Nov. 12, during a private listening session for his upcoming album Black Panties. “[Justin] just called me to do a song, and it’s hot. He wanted to go and do some R&B stuff so we got together and did that.”
And now, despite the fact that we’re “not ready,” we know that we won’t have long to wait. Justin tweeted the link to the Vibe piece, with the words “next week” telling us all we could possibly ever need to know, on Nov. 13:

Can We Still ‘Believe’ In Justin?
It’s no secret that Justin has had a seriously rough couple of weeks, so we hope that news of this upcoming track, along with the exciting release of the poster for his movie Believe, will set things in the right direction for the troubled young star.
“When you’ve reached a certain point, there are people out there that are waiting to see you fall,” Justin said in the first clip for Believe. “Rather than let gravity take you down, take matters into your own hands — and fly.”
Well, if there’s one thing we’ve always known about R. Kelly, it’s that he believes he can fly. Hopefully, he’ll help Justin figure out how to properly spread those wings.
