Justin Bieber Angers Argentines By Kicking National Flag Off Stage

Wed, November 13, 2013 6:26pm EDT by 21 Comments

Justin’s latest outburst may be the most offensive one yet! During a performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the 19-year-old singer outraged the audience when he kicked the country’s flag off the stage! Watch the video here.

Justin Bieber has made his fair share of mistakes on stage, from showing up late to a concert in London in March, to storming off stage in Brazil after being hit with a water bottle. To add to his list, Justin upset many of his Argentine fans during a concert in Buenos Aires on Nov. 9 when he used his microphone stand to sweep the country’s national flag out of the way during his performance! Read on for all the details.

Justin Bieber Kicks Flag Off Stage In Argentina — Angers Argentines

We know Justin pours his heart and soul into his performances, but he crossed a new line by disrespecting the adoring Argentine fans who paid to see him in concert. The Believe singer used his shoes and a microphone stand to usher the flag off stage because it appeared to be in his way, the UK’s Daily Mail reports.

When performers play abroad, it is tradition for them hold up the country’s flag to show respect and appreciation for their foreign fans. Justin, however, did just the opposite. While he may not have meant to diss his Beliebers, it seems like Justin could learn a thing or two from performers who proudly acknowledge their fans from all over the world.

Justin Bieber Booed In Argentina

Argentina just isn’t Justin’s place, apparently! The Biebs was forced to end his second concert in Buenos Aires early on Nov. 10 due to food poisoning.

After an hour of performing, Justin announced, “I’m not feeling too good. I think I’m out of energy,” according to the Associated Press. He followed this statement by blowing a kiss to the audience and walking off stage. When the abandoned Beliebers realized he was really gone, they started booing loudly.

Justin’s team supported him by tweeting about how he went against his doctor’s orders to perform because he didn’t want to let his fans down — but the damage was already done.

So what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Justin apologize to his Argentine fans? Let us know!

and for those that defend the prick…NOTE: his gesture was to sweep it off stage as if though to imply GARBAGE! He is not a good guy, he is an I D I O T, with no manners at ALL!!
If anyone did that with my countries flag (USA) I would be equally disgusted!!
Argentina, I am sorry for this idiots conduct, he does not represent us in any way!!! i wish people would stop going to his concerts – stop feeding this bug!!
DONE!

not only in Argentina sorry to say. but there are some other countries too, a few years ago, this is not the first time he did this, it also happened as well in my country. he also tweeted an apology or an explanation for his behavior. but now, he is well known for being disrespectful in my country, cause usually, only kids are a fan of him, so for his not really a fan, but knows him, his image is already dented in a way. not just in Argentina. check out a scene at the airport(will not state out my country anymore). also he also left early cause of his drama sickness, and his attitude goes along with him even until the airport. a lot of the hollywood celebrity singers, or mostly, celebrity, singers in the U.S.of A and European artist, even those Asian pop, (gawd, i don’t like those, for teen fans only) who went in our country has never shown rudeness to us, since they are foreigners and i agree with hollywood life in this, When performers play abroad, it is tradition for them hold up the country’s flag to show respect and appreciation for their foreign fans and i think he should apologized to the Argentinians, also not just the flag, but overall to his fans abroad and to any foreign land he went too, cause i heard his ticket is in AMerica is not that expensive, unlike in our country!!!! really expensive!!! that’s why i day dream about going to U,K, Europe, just to see my dream musicians, and for sure, their tickets are not so expensive, unlike in our country. i can go visit America for tour, so, it wont be a problem. but even there, i never went to their concerts and events, hopefully someday. i heard its not expensive. cause they are from there. basically, meaning, we pay this celebs more than you guys.
Justin would be the first to show rudeness towards us, actually i had forgotten about his behavior, but after seeing this, its all flashing back again. and usually when we our news reporter took videos of hollywood celebs or international singer, it is likely that you will be welcomed and be videoed at your first landing in our country but that is all…its not like they are in your face, like the paparazzi in your country, i believe they gave you space and respect through out cause you are a foreigner, and usually, all they could report about are positive feedback about you guys, who wouldn’t be excited?! i mean duh its an international celebrity and singer. sorry again to say. even when Miley went in our country, she performed on stage while being sick, we didn’t even know about that, until it was in the news after her concert. but not life threatening, also, she was super nice, very beautiful and sexy, as said by many, also her ticket is sold out.

it’s very dangerous to throw things on stage, especially a big piece of fabric like this one. When I’ve gone to concerts before the rules have been very strict and the security would have a long speech before that you were absolutely not allowed to throw anything, even small things, on stage. I understand that he has to throw it off stage, I don’t think he meant it in a disrespectful way

i think he should apologize then i think he shouldnt if your told before hand not to throw things on stage then it applys to everything even flags so how is he disrespecting it if he warned the crowd about throwing things the person that should be taking the blame should be the fan that threw it on the stage floor. they couldnt just hold the dam flag up and hoped the grabs it or have someone from his team get it and hand it to him there is so much mindless ppl in the world smh.

He probably didn’t realize that the flag is a symbol of love. And besides he thought it was in the way. Justin is a good guy. He probably didn’t mean any harm.

It is a total disrespect to Argentina, he should apologize. Not only he threw the Argentinan flag out of the stage treating it like trash but he also left earlier, he felt sick because he was partying all night the night before to the concert. It is a shame that someone that has so many fans that love him and follow him is such a bad example and lousy role model.

No end to the bullship from the media: Why not blame the person throwing the flag on the stage after people were told not to? He apparently did not look carefully to see what it was; he’s used to bras being thrown on stage. He merely dragged it out of the stage not throw it. Absolutely no disrespect was intended.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? There’s always a fan who throws a flag to the stage, no matter the artist or the country. And usually the artist grabs it for at least just a second to show respect and then hands it in to a guard. What he did to the flag that represents 40 million people and myself its outrageous

And nobody forced the fan to throw that flag onto the stage. If he hadn’t, then Justin wouldn’t have disrespected the Argentinian flag.
