Justin’s latest outburst may be the most offensive one yet! During a performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the 19-year-old singer outraged the audience when he kicked the country’s flag off the stage! Watch the video here.
Justin Bieber has made his fair share of mistakes on stage, from showing up late to a concert in London in March, to storming off stage in Brazil after being hit with a water bottle. To add to his list, Justin upset many of his Argentine fans during a concert in Buenos Aires on Nov. 9 when he used his microphone stand to sweep the country’s national flag out of the way during his performance! Read on for all the details.
Justin Bieber Kicks Flag Off Stage In Argentina — Angers Argentines
We know Justin pours his heart and soul into his performances, but he crossed a new line by disrespecting the adoring Argentine fans who paid to see him in concert. The Believe singer used his shoes and a microphone stand to usher the flag off stage because it appeared to be in his way, the UK’s Daily Mail reports.
When performers play abroad, it is tradition for them hold up the country’s flag to show respect and appreciation for their foreign fans. Justin, however, did just the opposite. While he may not have meant to diss his Beliebers, it seems like Justin could learn a thing or two from performers who proudly acknowledge their fans from all over the world.
Justin Bieber Booed In Argentina
Argentina just isn’t Justin’s place, apparently! The Biebs was forced to end his second concert in Buenos Aires early on Nov. 10 due to food poisoning.
After an hour of performing, Justin announced, “I’m not feeling too good. I think I’m out of energy,” according to the Associated Press. He followed this statement by blowing a kiss to the audience and walking off stage. When the abandoned Beliebers realized he was really gone, they started booing loudly.
Justin’s team supported him by tweeting about how he went against his doctor’s orders to perform because he didn’t want to let his fans down — but the damage was already done.
So what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Justin apologize to his Argentine fans? Let us know!
