It was a first for ‘The Voice’ on Nov. 12, when the fans got to decide who they wanted to save from the bottom three. We all had five minutes to tweet who we thought deserved to stay after the bottom three were announced — however, it resulted in a shocking double elimination!
Since all 12 of the finalists are extremely talented, it was tough to see anyone go home on The Voice — but the two who were eliminated were not at all who we were expecting. Do you agree with America’s save?
‘The Voice’ Performances
The show opened with an awesome performance of “Brave” by Sara Bareilles along with Kat Robichaud, Caroline Pennell, Jacquie Lee, and Tessanne Chin.
Coach Ceelo Green performed with his team for his first time this season, singing “Roam.” Wearing a black dress-like(?) pant suit, the harmony sounded really beautiful with two men and two women.
The next performance was the men of The Voice taking on “American Band.” Will Champlin, James Wolper, Cole Vosbury, Austin Jenckes, Ray Boudreaux, Josh Logan, Matthew Schuler and Jonny Gray rocked the stage!
The last performance of the night was by Adam Levine and his team — they took on “A Hards Day’s Night!” It’s always great to hear Adam up there with his team (and it’s not bad to watch, either — he was singing and playing the drums).
Top 10 Revealed, After Shocking Elimination
It wasn’t all fun and games, though. Carson Daly gave us all the good news first, listing the safe singers.
Here’s the order the first nine were saved in:
Team Ceelo’s Caroline (Team Ceelo)
Matt (Team Christina)
Austin (Team Blake)
Tessanne (Team Adam)
Jacquie (Team Christina)
Cole Vosbury (Team Blake)
Will Champlin (Team Adam)
Ray Boudreaux (Team Blake)
James Wolper (Team Adam)
After the reveals, we were left with Jonny and Kat, both from Team Ceelo and Josh from Team Christina. These were the bottom three — and it was America’s time to choose who to save. For the first time ever, America had five minutes to tweet the first name of who they wanted to save along with “#VoiceSave.”
It was a definite close run, as I was keeping an eye on Twitter, but the artist saved was . . . Team Ceelo’s Kat!
That means it was the end of the road for XTina’s Josh and Ceelo’s Jonny — and honestly, I have no idea how that happened. But what do you think, HollywoodLifers? Let us know! Do you think the right people went home?
