Kendrick is up to his old antics, calling out Drake and insinuating he doesn’t care if he and Drake are ‘cool’ in a new interview.
Did Kendrick Lamar Diss Drake, Again?
Kendrick, 26, is featured on the cover of the Dec. 2013 issue of GQ. In the issue, which calls him “The Next King Of Rap,” he openly talks about his friendship with Drake after his infamous diss verse on Big Sean‘s “Control.”
K.L says his relationship with Drizzle is “pretty cool.” But wait! He immediately follows his response by saying, “I mean, I would be OK if we weren’t.”
(Interesting choice of words, Kendrick. So just how close are you and Drake?)
Kendrick Lamar Goes IN On Drake
As HollywoodLife.com previously told you, Kendrick went in and HARD on just about every rapper in the game, including Drake, on “Control.”
You’ll recall the verse that caused a fire storm in the rap community:
I’m usually homeboys with the same n****s i’m rhymin wit / But this is hip hop and them n****s should know what time it is / And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron‘, Tyler, Mac Miller / I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n****s / Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n****s.
Now it’s your turn to sound off, HollywoodLifers and tell us what you think. Do you think Kendrick is the next king of rap?
