‘Vampire Diaries’ stars past and present gathered Nov. 9 in Atlanta to celebrate 100 incredible episodes, and HollywoodLife.com has all the red carpet pics.
Can you believe The Vampire Diaries has cranked out 100 episodes? It seems like only yesterday that Elena (Nina Dobrev) and “psychic” Bonnie (Kat Graham) were admiring the “hot back” of new-guy Stefan (Paul Wesley) — you know, five years before we learned he wasn’t just a vampire, but the doppelganger of a centuries-old immortal witch. The cast and crew came together Nov. 9 for a 100th-episode celebration, which doubled as a reunion for several former fan-favorite characters.
Along with the show’s holy trinity of hotness — that’s Nina, Paul and Ian Somerhalder, in case there was any confusion — the rest of Mystic Falls’ finest turned out for the CW-star-studded event. Zach Roerig, Steven R. McQueen and Michael Trevino were all in attendance, along with Kat Graham, Candice Accola and Candice’s fiancé Joseph King.
Newbies Olga Fonda and Shaun Sipos were also spotted on the carpet.
Despite moving over to The Originals, the Mikaelson family — Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt and Nathaniel Buzolic — also walked the carpet, as well as the rest of the show’s cast: Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Daniella Pineda and Danielle Campbell.
Basically, it was TVD overload in the best way.
Former ‘Vampire Diaries’ Stars Return
Along with the show’s current crop of stars, it was a special treat to see actors from seasons past return to walk the carpet. Kayla Ewell, who played Matt’s sister Vicky; Malese Jow, who played Jeremy’s ghostly girlfriend Anna; David Anders, who played Elena’s “uncle” John; Sara Canning, who played Elena’s aunt Jenna; and Matt Davis, who we still miss as teacher-turned-monster Alaric, were all present and accounted for.
Given the endless possibilities of life in Mystic Falls, I think there’s a good chance we’ll see at least one of these faces again before the series ends its run. We’ve already seen returns from Kayla, Malese and Michael — in ghostly form, of course — but we’ll be waiting patiently for the rest to show up.
HollywoodLifers, what do you hope to see on The Vampire Diaries‘ 100th episode this season? You know it’s going to be huge! Drop a comment with your thoughts below.
