We’re not quite sure how Carrie Underwood managed to find enough time to change while hosting the CMA Awards on Nov. 6 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, but we certainly aren’t complaining. The 30-year-old country crooner showed off a slew of styles while on stage, hosting and performing for the big show!
Carrie Underwood’s CMA Awards Outfits:
The star first stepped out, shimmering on the red carpet, in a long-sleeved, plunging gown that featured embellishments and a sheer skirt. While she looked lovely, there was way more where that came from!
Carrie slipped into so many different looks, but one of my favorites had to be the fluttering pink Christian Siriano gown she wore while on stage. The dress had such an ethereal vibe and it was so consistent with Carrie’s feminine sense of style. The songstress must have an affinity for gowns — after all, she showed off so many while on stage, including a silver Talbot Runhof look and a micro-sequin gown by Theia.
While I loved her gowns, she also switched things up and swapped the glam dresses for an adorable sleeveless cocktail dress from Georges Chakra’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The frock featured an embellished waist and cutouts on the bodice. The orange, color-blocked skirt gave way to a pink top. This look was sexy, flirty, and fun — and I loved it!
Carrie Underwood’s CMA Awards Performance Outfit:
Her sexiest ensemble definitely was her Chagoury jumper, which she wore while performing on stage. The black silk crepe ensemble featured a shawl collar and Swarovski crystal embellishments, and she added to the glitz and glam by pairing it with black booties that were decorated with crystal fringes.
