The first lady celebrated Diwali in style! Are you loving her dress just as much as we are? VOTE.
Michelle Obama is not only known for her good deeds, but she’s also known for the fashion statements she sets while doing them! On Nov. 6 the influential first lady looked appropriate and chic for the Diwali celebration, sporting a pretty pink dress. She also tried some classic dance moves at the Bollywood dance clinic while surprising local students — and what better way to dance than to dance in a beautiful Naeem Khan dress?
Michelle Obama’s Diwali Celebration Dress:
The first lady donned a soft pink, sleeveless dress that showed off her toned figure, (and her favorite asset, her arms!), in the most sophisticated way! From blue to red and white, the soft pink dress is detailed with many colors of beaded designs that started at her waistline and continued to the bottom of the knee-length frock. To compliment the celebration dress, the leading lady wore a long pearl necklace and soon after added a traditional necklace for the reception. While glowing at the influential event she stated the importance of celebrating all cultures and how important the Dawali traditions are.
Seeing the first lady in Naeem Khan is no surprise — after all, the designer is one of her favorites! How can we forget all the other Naeem Khan dresses that Michelle has worn? There are too many to chose from, but some of our favorites have to be between the silver dress the fashionable first lady chose for the her surprise appearance at the 2013 Oscar Awards in February and the orange and yellow ombre cocktail dress that she wore for the Official Dinner in South Africa in July!
No matter where she goes, Michelle continues to inspire the fashion world with her cultivated and stylish trends! Do you love her look as much as we do? Vote!
