The 21-year-old looks absolutely gorgeous on the cover of the December issue of the magazine, and inside she gets candid about marriage, starting a family, and her guest role on ‘Glee.’
Demi Lovato looked nothing short of amazing while gracing the December 2013/January 2014 cover of Latina magazine — and we have an exclusive sneak peek of the stunning shoot right here! The star looked effortlessly chic in a variety of stylish looks, including a feminine white frock and a red gown that hugged her curves. The “Heart Attack” singer’s blonde locks were styled in voluminous curls, giving her a look that screamed glamour — and who doesn’t love a little glitz and glam for the holidays? While she may just be 21, the star has certainly dealt with her fair share of ups and downs — and there’s one role she can’t wait to take on in her personal life.
Demi Lovato’s ‘Latina’ Interview — She Wants To Have Children:
The star admits that starting a family is definitely on her mind — but not so fast! “I’m a Texas girl, so my instinct is to have babies early. In my heart I’m like, ‘Okay, it’s time to have babies!’ But it’s not. I have so much life ahead of me that I actually have to slow my roll. We’ll see where my life is in 5 years, but I definitely see myself as a mom in 10,” she says.
So, what does Demi look for in a guy? “I look for someone who makes me laugh. Because 20, 30 years from now, sometimes the spark fades, but when you’re with someone who’s your best friend—that’s what makes a relationship last,” she admits.
Demi Lovato On Starring As Naya Rivera’s Love Interest On ‘Glee’:
Demi is an advocate for people being comfortable in their own skin, regardless of their size, race, or sexual orientation. When asked about playing the role of Naya Rivera‘s love interest, she says: “Yes, we kissed in the first episode, but I want people to pay less attention to the fact that I’m kissing a girl. Focus on the fact that having a young, multicultural lesbian couple on prime time is a huge step in our generation. It’s showing people that it’s okay to be who you are. Don’t be ashamed of it.”
Demi Lovato On Her Lovato Treatment Scholarship:
Demi is the poster girl for survival. After struggling with bulimia, cutting, and losing her father, the beauty is determined to show her support for people going through mental illness and addiction. “The process is getting them through treatment, giving them the support that they need. Just making sure they get their two feet on the ground,” she tells the mag. We love the fact that Demi is devoting her time to such a wonderful, (and personal), cause!
