Kerry Washington Hides Baby Bump On ‘SNL’
A few days before she was to appear on SNL, news broke that Kerry was expecting a baby with her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha. But Kerry’s known for being super private about her life, and she didn’t address her pregnancy during the episode.
Although she didn’t talk about the happy news, we think she looked positively glowing! Kerry wore flattering clothes that hid her stomach, but we could still detect a bit of a bump. So cute!
Kerry Washington Mocks Lack Of Diversity On ‘SNL’
Even though we were hoping to see her talk about the pregnancy, we still thought Kerry was absolutely hilarious on SNL. In the opening skit, she even went big for a joke that poked fun at the show’s lack of diversity.
The sketch took place at the White House, with Kerry playing Michelle Obama… and then Oprah… and then Beyonce. While she was making all of these costume changes, a voiceover said: “The producers of SNL would like to apologize for the number of black women Kerry Washington will be asked to play tonight… We made these requests because SNL does not currently have a black woman in the cast…” So funny!
So, HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Kerry’s hosting abilities? Were you surprised that she didn’t talk about being pregnant?
