It was a star-studded Halloween show for both GMA and Today, since both casts had a celebrity costume theme! Each show had hilarious and provocative outfits — especially since Matt Lauer sported fake breasts in a sexy costume and Lara Spencer was scandalously dressed as Miley Cyrus — on a wrecking ball! Read on for all the details.
‘Today Show’ Hosts Dress Like Iconic Characters From ’80s TV Shows For Halloween
Today‘s theme was classic ’80s TV show characters, and they really ran wild with it!
Nothing was funnier than Matt’s turn as Pamela Anderson in Baywatch, wearing her famous, skimpy red bathing suit — complete with fake breasts, a blonde wig and makeup!
Willie Geist was David Hasselhoff lifeguard trunks and a jacket, and former Baywatch star Carmen Electra even joined the hosts in her old bathing suit — that still looked amazing! Al Roker was Mr. T from The A-Team and Savannah Guthrie and Natalie Morales were Laverne & Shirley, pulling up on a bike!
Carson Daly was Officer Jon Baker from CHiPs — and arrived on a motorcycle driven by Erik Estrada, who formerly starred on the show! Both were wearing California Highway Patrol costumes.
‘GMA’ Hosts Dress Like Celebrities From Awards Shows For Halloween
GMA also did a celebrity theme in a different way, by wearing costumes from current TV shows, movies and performances!
George Stephanopoulus floated out as an astronaut, dressed as George Clooney from Gravity. Lara also swung out on a wrecking ball, sexily dressed as Miley from the VMAs in her raunchy bear onesie, sticking her tongue out the whole time!
Robin Roberts was dressed as Oprah‘s character from The Butler, and Paula Faris and Ron Claiborne were the extremely sexy Kim Kardashian and Kanye West! Sam Champion rounded out the cast as Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones.
