Chris, 24, is getting loads of support after deciding to enter rehab — especially from his mother! HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVE details about what Mama Breezy thinks of Chris’ brave step.
After allegedly punching Isaac Adams Parker in the face Oct. 27, Chris Brown decided to get help for his anger management issues. The hip-hop artist will complete up to three months in a rehab center in Malibu, Calif., where he’ll reportedly gain insight and learn to control his behavior. His friends have been very supportive, and apparently so has his mother, Joyce Hawkins.
Chris Brown’s Mother Joyce Supports Chris Brown Entering Rehab
Joyce is one proud mama! She is happy that Chris is taking matters into his own hands and get help, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
And we have to hand it to Chris’ on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who was the one to make the call to Joyce. Our source tells us Joyce was grateful for Karrueche because she loves to be involved in Chris’ life, no matter how the news gets to her.
Joyce is a very supportive mother, and we’re glad she’s one of many helping Chris on his very difficult journey to recovery.
Chris Brown Needs ‘Space’ During Rehab
Amidst all the support Chris is receiving, he thinks the best way to recovery is if he has space from friends and loved ones.
“[Chris’] boys have been there for him from day one and will continue to be there for him,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “That won’t change, but Chris already told them that he’s going to ‘need some space’ to get his life together and handle business.”
His friends were very understanding when Chris shared the news with them.
“They understood and were cool with it,” the source adds. “They love him and respect that and want him to have all the time he needs to get his issues together.”
What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? If you were Chris’s mom Joyce, would you support him going to rehab?
