As if his crumbling personal life and alleged substance abuse problem weren’t enough, Lamar had to watch the Lakers and Clippers — two iconic teams he once played for — at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Oct. 29.
As the Lakers dominated the Clippers in their highly anticipated match-up Oct. 29, there was just one thing missing: Lamar Odom! How did the now-unemployed Lamar handle watching two of his former teams compete on the court he knows so well? Read on for our EXCLUSIVE details.
Lamar Crushed By Lakers Vs. Clippers Game
“He’s got mixed feelings about it,” a source close to Lamar tells HollywoodLife.com. “He know he’s f*cked up his career and that eats him up everyday.”
While Lamar jokingly considered going to the Staples Center for the game, the source reveals, he decided to watch it elsewhere.
“It [killed] him to watch because he knows he should be out there and the reason he’s not is because he f***ed it up himself,” the source continues. “It’s a double whammy for Lamar because he isn’t on either team.”
It’s definitely a tough thing to handle, watching what should be your future slip through your hands — but this may just be the thing Lamar needs to get his life sorted out. Khloe has already tried tough love, and now she’s resorted to just being there for Lamar; she continues to stand by her man and supports his hopeful return to the NBA.
While they are living separately, Khloe and Lamar reunited for a night of fun with family at Kanye West’s Yeezus tour concert.
Lamar Odom Attends Kanye West’s Concert
“It didn’t take too much convincing for him to go out there.” a source tells Hollywoodlife.com. “He needed to be out and Kanye’s concert couldn’t come at a better time for him.”
It also couldn’t have come at a better time for Khloe and Lamar’s relationship. A source tells us “they boogied together to Kanye’s music and flirted back and fourth just like they used to.”
Such great news!
Hollywoodlifers, do you think the game will give Lamar the kick he needs to turn his life around? Let us know!
