Katy and Rob are good friends, but a recently leaked video of the two singing karaoke is leading speculation that they may have been more. Read on to see what Katy had to say about what really happened during the booze-fueled karaoke night.

In a leaked video from 2008, Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry sing Boyz II Men‘s “I’ll Make Love to You” in a flirty karaoke duet at Burbank’s Dimples bar. At one point, Katy even leaves her chair to sit on Rob’s lap. Could Katy and Rob have been more than friends?

Katy & Rob Get Drunk With Mutual Friends

“This chair is too high to make love,” exclaims Katy during the leaked karaoke video, as she gets off her stool and moves onto Rob’s lap. The two are visibly intoxicated as they laugh, drink and sing Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love to You.”

It looks like Katy has some explaining to do!

“Nothing is sacred, not even karaoke,” she quipped during a recent radio interview on the Kyle & Jackie O Show. “One of my best friends is a mutual friend of ours, and we got wasted and did karaoke like people do,” she laughed.

But was this more than a friendly karaoke session?

Katy Feels Bad That Rob Can’t Have Girl Friends

Despite how it may appear, It seems that Katy is just Rob’s friend.

“At least it shows you that we’re actually just friends,” Katy said. “It’s like if you’re a girl you can’t be friends with that guy … The poor guy. I feel for him.”

We’re happy to see Rob out having fun with friends, but we have to admit that things do look a little more-than-friendly in the video.

What do YOU think HollywoodLifers, could Rob and Katy have had a romantic past?
