MTV’s brutally honest look at lady life returns tonight with an all-new season.
From dudes and dates to women and waxing, Girl Code has always been a solid guide to surviving this wacky thing we call life — so, of course, we’re thrilled the MTV series is returning for its second season! HollywoodLife.com recently chatted with hilarious panelist Jessimae Peluso to find out what viewers can expect from the new episodes, which begin rolling out at 10 p.m. tonight.
Once we got all the important issues out of the way — we talked briefly about the prevalence of meth in her hometown, as well as the fact that I share a name with her middle school ex-boyfriend — we switched gears to the show’s new season.
“We have more skits!” she told us. “We have a lot more skits, and we really get a lot of creative input. They’re based on things we’ve experienced, or things we know about, so it’s crazy. We really get to let loose.”
She couldn’t tell us exactly what those skits are, but based on the trailer, we can at least expect sledgehammers, chocolate and pole dancing — three of our favorite things!
We also couldn’t help but wonder if there’s anything Jessimae has ever said, or will say on season two, that she regrets. Her answer was perfect:
“I always regret what I say,” she admitted. “Honestly, they get you in a little room, they lull you into a false sense of security — like it’s just you and them talking — and all of a sudden, you’ve spilled all of your darkest secrets and it’s on a TV show.”
Outside of Girl Code, Jessimae remains the busiest of beavers, making appearances across the country and working on many top-secret projects, all of which you can read about on her official website.
And don’t miss the season premiere of Girl Code at 10 p.m. TONIGHT on MTV!
