Pippa Middleton: Prince George Christening Gift Is Silver Casts Of Hands & Feet
Pippa reportedly gifted her nephew and his parents silver casts of little Georgie’s hands and feet!
In order to make the casts, Prince George would have had to keep his hands and feet still for about 30 seconds in a jelly-like fluid made of water and a seaweed-based powder, according to The Daily Mail. No small task for a wriggly 3-month-old!
A small British company, Wrightson and Platt, reportedly manufactured the casts.
“The sculptures can be made in colored glass, lead crystal, bronze or silver (which is the traditional christening metal),” reported People. “The price varies depending on the material chosen and the size of the child, but Middleton has reportedly spent about $11,000 on her gift.”
