This week’s episode taught us more about Hook’s rough past with Peter Pan — and his hot future with Emma!
Desperate to save Henry (Jared Gilmore), and seriously running out of time, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the gang took a page out of Regina George’s handbook by turning the Lost Boys against their leader on the Oct. 27 episode of Once Upon A Time. But when they discovered the Boys couldn’t be easily swayed, they took a page out of Regina Mills’ (Lana Parrilla) handbook, instead — ripping out their hearts!
With magic on their side, the girls were able to communicate with Henry — and not a moment too soon, as Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) is making great strides in helping Henry embrace his dark side!
This week’s Enchanted Forest flashback shed some light on what makes Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) so, well, Hook-like; and it all stems back to his first encounter with Pan. Hook and his brother were originally sent to Neverland to collect Dream Shade, which the king told them was a “healing” plant, but they soon discovered otherwise.
Pan told Hook about a healing spring on the island, which would cure his brother’s poison — a valuable piece of information that present-day Hook was nice enough to share with Charming (Josh Dallas). There is a slight catch, though: Whoever drinks from the spring is stuck in Neverland forever.
That should be a fun problem to weasel out of…
‘Captain Swan’ Finally Happens
Hook did more than just save Charming’s life; he also earned the respect of Emma’s entire crew — and in the case of Emma, herself, he earned a whole lot more than just her respect. As a thank-you for saving her dad, Emma planted a big ol’ wet one on the rum-loving captain. Actually, it was probably the most intense kiss we’ve seen on the show so far, which is saying a lot since Once is literally based on ‘true love’s kiss.’
Emma assured Hook that the kiss would only be a “one-time thing,” but by the look on his face, I’m thinking he’s hoping for a repeat. Which is why he was especially disappointed when Pan revealed that not only is Neal (Michael Raymond-James) alive, but he’s in Neverland!
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of this week’s episode? Are you glad Hook and Emma finally kissed? Are you ready to get the #$%^ out of Neverland? Drop a comment with your thoughts.
