Things are getting even worse for Chris. Not only is the singer spending a night in jail and facing felony assault charges for allegedly punching a man in the face on Oct. 27, but the victim has also spoken out and stated definitively that he wants Chris to stay behind bars.
Chris Brown may have avoided any trouble stemming from his alleged altercation on Oct. 27 if the victim decided not to press charges, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. The man has already spoken out after allegedly being assaulted, and he sounds determined to punish Chris.
Chris Brown’s Alleged Victim Speaks
The victim, whose name isn’t being released by police because he’s considered a witness, said that Chris’ punch broke his nose in an interview with TMZ.
And now he wants Chris to pay for the alleged abuse, stating that he has lawyered up and will definitely press charges against Chris. Though he added that he wouldn’t have gone down this road if only Chris had apologized to him at the time of the incident.
The victim also gave his side of the story on why the fight happened. He confirmed TMZ’s earlier report that Chris got upset when the man and his friend photo-bombed a picture Chris was taking with two female fans. Chris reportedly said “I’m not into this gay s**t, I’m into boxing,” and then threw the punch.
Chris Brown Arrested For Felony Assault
But people in Chris’ camp are telling a different story. They say that the fight occurred when the alleged victim tried to force his way onto Chris’ tour bus, according to TMZ. The sources claim that Chris was simply trying to prevent the man from trespassing.
Chris was arrested outside of the W Hotel in Washington D.C. at about 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 27. Earlier in the night he had been hosting a party at the nightclub Park and 14th. He is being held in jail on felony assault charges and will likely remain there until he appears in court on Monday, Oct. 28.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you believe the alleged victim or Chris’ camp?
