The two injured National Guardsmen were taken to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis. Fortunately, their injuries are not life-threatening, according to the U.S. Navy.

The shooting happened at 12:47 p.m. EST when three National Guardsmen got into a fight, and the suspect pulled out a “small handgun,” NBC reported.

One guardsman was reportedly shot once in the foot, and the other was shot once in the leg. The shooting occurred at the National Guard Armory, which is on U.S. Navy property that’s leased to the Guard, CNN reported. No other fatalities were reported.

“This is not Navy related,” a military official told NBC News.

The National Guardsmens’ full medical conditions are still unknown, but the two victims were alert and talkative when they arrived at the hospital, Millington Fire Chief Gary Graves said.
