While we’re so relieved that Austin is out of the hospital, it’s not all good news. The 17-year-old singer still can’t sing after suffering a blood clot in his throat, HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned.
Austin Mahone Can’t Sing After Blood Clot
“He’s still unable to sing or work, but is on the mend,” Austin’s rep told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. Luckily, we know he’s not giving up anytime soon!
In the early hours of Oct. 23, he tweeted a hopeful message:
It’s never too late. A determined mind and a positive attitude will increase your ability to achieve and succeed any goal you want in life.

Austin’s Scary Hospital Visit
When Austin first started tweeting that he had “never felt so bad,” and landed in the hospital, both his family and his fans were extremely worried! Even his mother was taking to Twitter and Instagram to show her love for her son.
We later found out from Austin’s rep that after a 104 degree temperature, he headed to the hospital and was diagnosed with severe dehydration, as well as a blood clot and extreme inflammation of the throat.
His rep let us know that he was heading home to recover on Oct. 21. Hopefully he will relax and get better soon — we know he’s dying to go on tour. After announcing that he had to cancel it, he tweeted, “Hope I haven’t let anyone down.”
We hope he knows that he definitely hasn’t — we just hope he gets well soon! So, HollywoodLifers — do you think that Austin will be able to sing again?
