Amanda Markert & Pauly D’s One-Night Stand — Hookup Details Revealed

Amanda, 25, and Pauly, 33, met through a mutual friend at the Las Vegas nightclub Rehab on August 20, 2012, a source close to the new mom tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“Amanda was a bottle girl at Harrah’s in Atlantic City, but she didn’t meet Pauly there when he had his DJ residency. She did become good friends with Loren, who dates Pauly’s security guard Gerry. She went to Vegas for the night to visit Loren and she wound up hanging out with Pauly at Rehab,” the source reveals. “Later that night, they hooked up and she left Vegas the next morning. Their one night in Vegas was the only time they’ve ever been together.”
Neither Amanda nor Pauly took the hookup very seriously and probably thought they would never see each other again.
“It was a night in Vegas — they didn’t exactly get to know each other,” the source says. “She obviously knew who Pauly was because he was DJing at Rehab. He didn’t know anything about her though.”
“When it came down to the actual hookup, she told Pauly she was on birth control,” the source adds. “It was just a fun night in Vegas.”
Well, it turned out to be so much more than that! Even though Pauly has some concerns about Amanda, the Jersey Shore star “is hoping to develop a relationship with her,” a source close to Pauly told E! News. “[He] wasn’t exactly planning for it to happen this way. But God works in mysterious ways.”
DJ Pauly D In Custody Battle With Baby’s Mother
Unfortunately, not knowing the child’s mom very well is causing major legal issues. Pauly is reportedly in an ugly custody battle with Amanda because he thinks she’s unfit to be a mom.
Pauly is concerned about the fact that Amanda used to work at Hooters and already has another child, according to TMZ. The picture Amanda took of Amabella in a high chair covered in $100 bills probably didn’t help either.
The two have reportedly filed dueling court docs because Pauly wants full custody of his adorable baby daughter and Amanda wants child support.
Even though the baby came as a surprise to Pauly and he’s feuding with Amanda, he is still so happy to welcome the little bundle of joy into his life.
“I’m proud I’m a father,” he told TMZ. “I am excited to embark on this new part of my life.”
