Legendary country singer Dolly Parton is at home recuperating after suffering minor injuries in a ‘fender bender’ in Nashville, Tenn.
Dolly Parton, 67, was involved in a car crash on Oct. 21 that sent her and two others to the hospital. Fortunately, she was released and is now at home resting. Read on for more details.
Dolly Parton Car Crash — Singer Suffers Minor Injuries In Fender Bender
Dolly was a passenger in a Nissan SUV that was struck by another car. The singer/songwriter and two others were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated and were released later that same day. All of the injuries were minor, according to a news statement.
After the car accident, Dolly tweeted on Oct. 21:
I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good… Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!

Dolly’s good friend Judy Ogle was driving the SUV, and she ended up getting trapped in the driver’s seat after the other vehicle slammed into her car, according to TMZ. Judy needed help getting out of the car, but she is reportedly okay now.

Dolly Parton’s New Tour Annouced
The Nine to Five star is gearing up for her 2014 “Blue Smoke World Tour,” which will kick off in England in June.
“Every time I come to Europe, I’m just as excited as I was my very first time, which was many, many years ago. I love that part of the world and I especially love the fans,” Dolly recently told Country Weekly. “We always have such a good time and I’ve put together a lot of things for this show that I think the fans will love.”
