Christian Grey Casting — How Dakota Johnson Is Helping Pick Her ’50 Shades’ Co-Star
Producers of Fifty Shades may not yet know who will play the male lead, but they are sure of one thing — Dakota is their “rock.”
“She’s just so Anastasia Steele. She’s the best partner a producer could have,” Michael De Luca, one of the movie’s producers, tells E! News.
Michael says the actress is playing an integral part of casting Christian by “helping us look through the candidates to see which chemistry kind of captures our attention.” Dakota is eager and excited to meet her new onscreen leading man — and so are we!
Christian Grey Will Be Cast Within A Month
The revolving door of potential actors to play Christian Grey will hopefully stop within the next month, according to Michael.
“We’re looking under rocks in Zimbabwe, in space, on the moon. We’re looking everywhere, but I think in a couple weeks it will be announced and everything will be cool,” he says.
The suspense is killing us! What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Dakota help cast Christian Grey? Let us know!
