‘Revenge’: Nolan & Patrick Kiss — Season 3 Episode 4 Recap – Hollywood Life

‘Revenge’ Recap: A Major Revelation Leads To A Shocking Kiss

Plus, Emily's plan takes a deadly turn and Aiden throws someone under the bus! The third season of Revenge is undoubtedly the best season yet, and the Oct. 20 episode was no exception. Emily (Emily VanCamp) discovered Daniel's (Joshua Bowman) true motives, Jack (Nick Wechsler) tried to get in on Emily's revenge agenda and two people unexpectedly locked lips!

Another One Bites The Dust

After Conrad’s (Henry Czerny) horrendous car accident with Father Paul (James LeGros), I was anxiously awaiting their fate. Conrad was in pretty good condition, considering the fiery extent of the crash, but Father Paul didn’t fare so well. He succumbed to his injuries soon after he was taken to the hospital.

I guess Emily’s plan is going to have to be rerouted. (Rest in peace, Father Paul. You will not be missed.)

However, nothing is ever that simple on Revenge. Emily automatically assumed Conrad planned the accident, but even Nolan (Gabriel Mann) thought that was a little far-fetched. He attributed the accident to the fake Huntington’s medication that Emily has been giving Conrad!

The best part was when Conrad called Emily his “guardian angel.” Oh Conrad, she’s more like the Angel of Death.

Since Emily didn’t see who was driving the car, the Graysons took advantage of Father Paul’s death and said he was driving the car. And it was Daniel who helped cover it up.

Emily was furious and retaliated by giving a statement about Daniel’s drinking past right before his magazine launch. He angrily confronted Emily about her revelation, but it was a losing battle for him, as she recognized him for the Grayson that he is. Emily walked out and Daniel said he wouldn’t be there when she got back. (OK, sure.)

A New Addition To Team Revenge?

After Conrad’s accident, Emily headed to The Stowaway to see Jack. He apologized for Conrad not being able to confess, but he still wanted to help Emily. Conrad has now killed his wife and his brother, and he wanted him to pay. Still, Emily doesn’t want Jack involved, whatsoever.

While Emily was investigating Conrad’s car at the junkyard, Jack showed up. Actually, he was one step ahead of Emily; he took a video of the car before it was taken away for good. He planned to reveal the truth about Conrad’s role in the accident, but Emily wanted to take the reigns. He told Emily that either he got to tell this truth or the other one — aka Emily’s real identity — and she got to choose.

I can’t even begin to describe how much I am loving the darker Jack this season. He finally has a purpose!

And it was Jack who discovered that it didn’t matter who was driving the car, because someone tampered with the brakes!

Later on, Jack realized the reason Emily didn’t want him at her wedding was because that’s when she was planning on taking down the Graysons once and for all. He said he wanted to be there when they got what they deserved, but Emily claimed he didn’t belong in this.

Let’s Talk About Patrick

I have said all along that Patrick (Justin Hartley) has some mystery behind those perfectly chiseled abs  his beautiful face. Plus, his relationship with Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) is just plain weird. And in tonight’s episode, we finally got some answers!

Patrick asked Victoria to sell her collection and they’d move away together. (Wait, doesn’t this sound like two lovers rather than mother and son?) Victoria graciously declined because her children need her.

Victoria ended up getting a job at the art gallery, but after she found out her boss was scamming her, she forced her to give her the entire gallery!

Nolan broke his no-technology rule and started investigating Patrick. He found about Patrick’s ex-wife (Brianna Brown), who seemed a little bitter about her ex-husband. She called Patrick a user and a liar, but after Nolan offered her $20,000, she was more than willing to talk.

Nolan ran into Patrick a second time and — wait for it — he kissed him! Patrick tried to act surprised, and Nolan started to get embarrassed, until Patrick kissed him back! Nolan breathlessly said, “have mercy,” which is exactly what I said. This is one of the best twists of the season thus far. I can’t wait to see where this goes.

All Hail King Conrad

Conrad discovered that he was being misdiagnosed with Huntington’s disease, so it didn’t take long for him to reclaim his position as master of Grayson Manor. Emily was perplexed as to how he found out, as Aiden (Barry Sloane) was supposed to be giving Conrad stronger medication.

At the end of the episode, Aiden confronted Conrad about some important news: He told Conrad that someone tampered with his brakes, and claimed Jack was the culprit! (Aiden, you can’t be serious,)
