Eric Decker may be in the middle of a busy football season, but that doesn’t mean wife, Jessie James is struggling through her pregnancy alone!
Eric Decker may be busy scoring touchdowns for the Denver Broncos, but wife, Jessie James, revealed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that her hubby is super supportive of their pregnancy — and that his schedule actually has a positive influence on their relationship.
Jessie James: How Eric Decker & I Juggle Football Season & Our Relationship
We’ve seen the stars of Eric & Jessie: Game On go through the ups and downs — the jealousy, the arguments, and of course — the making up! It can’t be easy for Jessie, 25, to be going through her first pregnancy, which hasn’t been easy, while Eric is traveling for football.
However, they totally make it work — she still goes to his games, even while pregnant.
“I go to every single home game – he’d be devastated if I didn’t!” Jessie told us exclusively. “Going to away games is pointless, because they’re on lockdown! We can’t even stay at the hotel together. So instead I just stay home.”
The singer also told me that she doesn’t mind staying home alone during Eric’s away games — it actually helps their relationship!
“He’s only gone for 24 hours or two days max, so not very long. We get to miss each other! That’s what’s so great,” she said. “That ‘I cant wait ‘til he comes home’ excitement. It’s not hard at all, surprisingly. I like alone time, a little me time.”
Jessie James: Eric Wants Four Kids!
As for Jessie, who is expecting her first baby in March, she’s still adjusting to the whole pregnant life!
“It’s been so weird and so new!” she said. “It’s just so crazy to be pregnant. I’m totally enjoying it, but I’m in awe of it, all of the time. But the baby’s healthy, that’s all that matters.”
As for the gender of the baby, they do know but aren’t quite ready to share.
“I’m just waiting because they’re like, 99% positive [of the sex], but there’s always that moment,” she told us. “I’d like to wait, just to stay sure.”
While the couple weren’t trying for a baby, she knows that her hubby has always wanted a big family.
“Eric always wanted four kids, but after this first one, I’ve just been really sick, I’m like, ‘Two will be alright with me!'” she said in the interview. “I feel like I have the flu every day! I had one bite of my omelet today and it made me sick. I’m not craving anything, I just don’t want a lot. The only thing I can really eat is sweets!”
