But the feud was supposed to be over! Though Drake didn’t name names, he definitely seemed to take another shot at Chris in a new interview. So are these longtime enemies still fighting?
Just when it seemed the wounds were healing between Drake and Chris Brown, the Nothing Was The Same rapper goes and fires off a thinly-veiled diss in a new interview. Do you think Drake was specifically talking about Breezy?
Drake: Did He Diss Chris Brown?
The 26-year-old rap star was talking about how he doesn’t get enough credit in the industry in an interview with CBC Radio, when he seemed to reference Chris.
“What really bothers me the most is the fact that sometimes I don’t feel like I get enough credit or I don’t make a big enough impact because I’m not a loose cannon,” Drake professed. “People just want me to go off more and lose my composure, and then that way I guess I would make more headlines or be more iconic. But that’s not me. I’m a naturally poised individual.”
Reading Drake’s quotes, it’s easy to connect the type of person he’s talking about to Breezy. Chris is that guy — he’s a loose cannon, he’s often lost his composure, and he still makes headline after headline.
It’s also clear that Drake is harboring some bitter feelings towards this type of person, which may explain why his feud with Chris started in the first place.
Drake & Chris Brown: Is The Feud Over?
So much for this beef being over! Chris tweeted a picture of himself and Drake hanging out on Oct. 3, which seemed to dispel any notions that they were still fighting. Add to that, a source close to Breezy told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “He and Drake ain’t got no more issues. They’re cool.”
But Drake may still be holding a grudge — that’s the way it sounds. Hey, at least Drake didn’t diss Chris by name this time.
