Plus, Fiona comes to a new understanding with her immortal frenemy, Delphine.
Every girl dreams of the perfect boyfriend, but Madison (Emma Roberts) and Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) took matters into their own hands on the Oct. 17 episode of American Horror Story: Coven — by literally piecing together the best body parts off the dead frat guys from last week, then attaching them to Kyle’s (Evan Peters) head!
Don’t worry, it was just as disgusting as it sounds.
By the end of the procedure, he looked like a weirdly hot version of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is pretty disturbing any way you slice it. I guess it’s a good thing that Zoe also made friends with Misty (Lily Rabe), who apparently isn’t dead, as she volunteered to look after Kyle — who spent most of the episode tweaking out and killing people.
Fiona & Delphine’s Unholy Alliance
While the girls were busy Frankenstein-ing the man of their dreams, Fiona (Jessica Lange) kept herself busy torturing her new friend, Delphine (Kathy Bates). It was just a lot of screaming and slapping for a while, until Delphine relayed the tale of how Marie “Black Devil” Laveau (Angela Bassett) put her in the ground.
So Fiona popped by Marie’s salon for a little trim, and once the two legends were finished chewing all available scenery, Fiona got down to business: All she really wants is Marie’s secret to immortality. Not only did Fiona’s ‘request’ fall on deaf ears, but we saw that Marie’s got a special friend waiting in the wings: that freakin’ minotaur-man!
By the end of the episode, I’d say Fiona and Delphine’s relationship had been upgraded to ‘frenemies.’ They still pretty much hate each other, but now they have a better understanding of how the other operates, not to mention a common enemy in Marie. Talk about a match made in hell!
