Klaus & Hayley’s bundle of hybrid joy is already in danger — and it’s not even born yet! Read on to find out why Joseph believes Klaus feels ‘threatened’ by his mini-me.
Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) got a disturbing message about her baby on the Oct. 15 episode of The Originals, and while we wait for her to figure out exactly what that message was — she spent quite a bit of time trying to translate it online, but to no avail — let’s see how the baby daddy feels about his impending bundle of joy, shall we?
Joseph Morgan recently chatted with E! Online, telling the site what Klaus is thinking — or, at least, what he thinks Klaus is thinking — about the baby, which was revealed to be a girl this week. Joseph told the site that Klaus likely has high aspirations for his offspring, but also remains cautiously optimistic about the child’s future:
I would imagine that he would want that child to take over the world. … But then I also feel that he’d be threatened by that; the [child] may grow up to despise the father and to kill him. I think there’s a serious danger of that it if it was a son, or even if it was a daughter. But I’m not sure. I think it’s tough enough getting him on board with the idea of the baby!
In summary, Klaus is just as confused about the baby as the rest of us are!
