Since the birth of his daughter, Arabella, Matt McCann struggled with drug addiction, faced homelessness, and went through nasty fights with his daughter’s mom, Alex Sekella. Now he’s facing some good news — because he is going to be able to have visits with his 2-year-old daughter again starting Oct. 16!
Matt McCann Visitation Rights: ‘Teen Mom 3′ Dad To Spend Weekends With Arabella
Beginning Oct. 16, “Matt will get supervised weekly visits with Arabella,” reported The Real Teen Mom Talk. “He’ll also get a visit every other Saturday and phone calls on Mondays and Fridays. After 3 months there will be another meeting with the mediator for the possibility of overnight visits.”
This is a great development for Matt, who reportedly has not seen his daughter in over a year, according to Wet Paint.
Matt McCann’s Recovery
Alex worked very hard to keep Matt away from their daughter as he was struggling with his drug addiction, but she eventually wanted him to have supervised visits with his little girl.
Since that time, Matt has enrolled in college, gotten clean from heroin, and moved in with his now-fiancee Lekota Koch. His new way of life is a more stable environment for Arabella to be around.
Matt answered his fans’ questions on Twitter and thanked them for their support at this exciting time!
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Are you glad that Matt will be able to get visits with Arabella?
