When asked if he would consider adopting again, Willie said “sure.” He has become passionate about adoption since learning how wonderful it is to be able to grow a family. “There are plenty of kids who need homes,” Willie told In Touch Weekly. That’s why we’re all here. We have adopted children and we have natural children … and there’s no difference between them.”
The Robertsons currently have 5 kids: Will, Rebecca, Bella, John Luke, and Sadie.
Willie & Korie Robertson Forever Changed By Adoption
Willie and Korie adopted their son Will — now 11 years old — when he was just 5 weeks old.
From the moment we found out about him, he was ours,” Korie told the audience at the Oct. 9 Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute Angels in Adoption Gala in Washington D.C. “I swear, I had labor pains the night before I went and picked him up at the foster home he was living at. He’s our child, just like our biological children.”
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Are you glad that the Robertsons are open to another adoption?
