What Is The Atkins Diet?
The diet was founded by Robert Atkins and is a very low-carb diet. The four phase diet significantly reduces carbs and gradually re-introduces them throughout the program. According to the website, the diet claims that participants can lose up to 15 pounds in the first two weeks.
Us Weekly reported in late September, “In August, Kim got frustrated because she hit a plateau, even though she was eating mostly proteins and veggies. Kim eliminated carbs completely. She’s working out here and there, but it’s mainly about the food, Atkins-style.”
