Considering Selena Gomez is the only girl Justin Bieber has ever been in a long-term relationship with since the start of his career, it’s safe to assume most — if not all — of his love songs have been influenced by her. But after his new interview, in which he describes the “gut-wrenching love” that inspired his latest track, HollywoodLife.com has decided to round up the top eight Selena-inspired Justin songs.
Justin Bieber’s 8 Most Romantic Songs For Selena Gomez
“As Long As You Love Me” (off 2012’s Believe) was Justin’s promise to Selena. As long as they’re together, he vows to make her happy.
Similarly, 2013’s “I Would” and “Boyfriend” also laid out the reasons why Selena would be crazy to leave Justin’s side.
We also love “Latin Girl,” an unreleased Bieber jam, which showed off Justin’s sexier side.
“Yellow Raincoat” (off 2013’s Believe Acoustic) displayed perhaps the most vulnerable Justin we’ve ever seen. We also love that his lyrics contained a special message that only Selena would understand: “I put on my raincoat, my yellow raincoat. You know exactly why.”
Justin and Selena’s relationship was — and continues to be — a major “Roller Coaster,” so we love that his newest track reflects that in its title.
Do we even need to wonder who 2013’s “Heartbreaker” is about? Justin released this mini statement about the song after it leaked:
It’s a song for people going through heartbreak — like I was when I wrote it. It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans.
The second released as part of Justin’s Music Mondays, “All That Matters,” is also a beautiful send-up to his ex-girlfriend.
