Now that Charlie will no longer be taking on the role of Christian Grey in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ does this mean Dakota, who is set to play Anastasia Steele, should be worried?
After Charlie Hunnam dropped out of 50 Shades of Grey on Oct. 12, fans started to worry about the fate of their Anastasia Steele, aka actress Dakota Johnson. Well, Dakota fans can rest easy because she is fully dedicated to the role, and the studio is now focused on finding someone who has good “chemistry” with her. Read on for all the EXCLUSIVE details.
Dakota Johnson: ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Role In Danger After Charlie Hunnam Quit?
The studios couldn’t be happier about Dakota playing Anastasia Steele and she is in absolutely no danger of getting fired, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“Dakota earned the role and she shouldn’t be worried right now. The only time she will have to worry, if at all, is if they hire someone that has no chemistry with her,” the source says. “But they are casting the actor with her in mind.”
The source also says a newcomer, not an established star, will most likely be cast as Christian:
Established stars have the same apprehensions as Charlie had to take the role. The film could easily be the next Showgirls or the next Basic Instinct, and we all know one was a complete joke and the other was an amazingly well-done and successful film.
We’re so happy Dakota will still be playing Anastasia! We don’t think it will take long to find a replacement for Charlie. We can’t wait to find out who the mystery man is!
Will Robert Pattinson Get The Role Of Christian Grey?
Now that Charlie’s officially out, Fifty Shades author E.L. James has another chance to score her first choice for the role of Christian Grey: Robert Pattinson.
“It’s his role if he wants it,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
If Rob does get cast in 50 Shades of Grey, it would be extremely ironic because we reported EXCLUSIVELY that Charlie dropped out to avoid being the next Robert Pattinson!
Whoever our next Christian is, we hope they cast him soon — the suspense is killing us!
