The Krim family welcomed a baby boy on Oct. 11. This is such wonderful news for the couple, whose two young children were allegedly slayed by their nanny in their NYC home in 2012.
Marina and Kevin Krim‘s two young children Leo, 2, and Lulu, 6, were murdered in their New York home on Oct. 25, 2012. The kids were allegedly stabbed to death by their nanny, Yoselyn Ortega. Their daughter Nessie was not home at the time, and was their only surviving child. The couple got some well-deserved amazing news on Oct. 11 — their fourth child, Felix, was born!
Marina Krim & Kevin Krim Welcome A Baby Boy
Marina, 36, gave birth to her fourth child, a healthy baby boy named Felix, on Oct. 11. A Facebook page set up in memory of her and her husband’s slain children, Lucia “Lulu” and Leo Krim, announced the news of baby Felix’s arrival:
We are very excited to share with you that Felix Harrison Krim, all 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and 21.5 inches of him, arrived today. Marina, Felix and all of us are healthy and happy. Thank you all so much for your support!
The family wrote on Facebook that they were “filled with many emotions” as they “look to the future,” in May, when they announced that they were expecting their baby boy. Weeks away from the 1-year anniversary of their tragic loss, the couple now shares some happiness.
NYC Nanny Slay Case
The Krims lost two beautiful children on Oct. 25, 2012. When they returned home to their Upper West Side New York City apartment after taking Nessie to swimming lessons, they found their two children stabbed to death. The family’s nanny, Yoselyn Ortega, stabbed herself in the throat and was also found by the couple in their apartment.
The nanny was charged with the two children’s murders. She pleaded not guilty to her charges. Her lawyers have said she is not mentally stable, and she will stand trial when she is deemed mentally fit.
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Are you so happy for the Krim family? Do you like the name Felix?
