Lea Michele looked stunning at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s panel on Oct. 8 where she joined Ryan Murphy, Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison. HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned that the cast wanted to show Lea how much they cared about her by all getting together this week.
Lea Michele must know how much she’s loved! Glee creator Ryan Murphy gathered some of Lea’s co-stars and closest friends this week in the midst of the Cory Monteith tribute episode, to make sure she was ok, a source close to her told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
‘Glee’ Cast Shows Support For Lea Michele At HFPA Panel
“Ryan Murphy wanted to meet up with Lea and a few others because this week is obviously the big week for the tribute show,” a source close to Lea told us. “He wanted to be around Lea, with other people that love her to make sure she is handling everything OK because emotions are going to reopened this week. Plus they haven’t seen each other since the filming of the episode ended as they are on a hiatus.”
It must have been nice for Lea to be around the familiar faces!
“She looked to be in bright spirits,” an onlooker told us. “Everyone was having a good time with each other. She was very respectful and nice.”

Lea Will Not Be Watching Cory’s Tribute Episode
While Lea is absolutely one of the strongest women out there, she has decided she won’t watch “The Quarterback,” which is when Glee will remember Cory and his character, Finn Hudson, airing Oct. 10.
“Lea most likely is going to skip watching the tribute episode as she will be way too emotional,” a source close to her told HollywoodLife.com. ”She feels that she lived it and doesn’t need to continue to open the wounds of her heart by watching it. She is very proud of it but it is extremely sad thinking about it.”
It’s completely understandable that Lea won’t be able to watch the episode. We give her props for even being able to film it! However, if she does decide to watch it, she’s got the whole Glee family behind her to support her.
