‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week 4 — The Full Recap
Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke danced the quickstep for a score of 24. “Wow, that was such an improvement from last week,” Julianne said. Bruno Tonioli added, “The footwork was incredible.”
Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovsky danced the Argentine tango as Elizabeth’s BFF, Sex And The City star Kristin Davis watched from the audience. Carrie Ann Inaba told Elizabeth, “from day one, you have been the most elegant and sensuous dancer. I love what you do with the story. It was so powerful. Every moment had meaning.” They got a 27.
Brant Daugherty (still battling a foot injury and a previous shoulder issue) danced the salsa SHIRTLESS with Peta Murgatroyd! “The lifts were fantastic, but when you take off your shirt, it’s very revealing. The actual salsa was a little broken,” Carrie Ann said. Julianne told Brant she was single! They got a score of 21.
Valerie Harper danced the Viennese Waltz with Tristan MacManus to “Carry On” by Fun. Valerie said the song is the musical equivalent to her motto. The inspiring couple got a standing ovation. Bruno said “she painted some pretty pictures” and advised her “to act over the mistakes.” Carrie Ann and Julianne both praised her courage. They got an 18.
Leah Remini danced the cha cha cha with partner Tony Dovolani. She looks amazing after a few weeks on the DWTS diet! “Leah from the block! She was channeling J. Lo tonight! Come and get it if you dare,” Bruno purred. Julianne said she thought she had good footwork but that she needed to use her body to match her fierce face. They got a score of 24.
Corbin Bleu danced a super sexy paso double with Karina Smirnoff. “The intensity was smoldering, the movements were stunning,” Carrie Ann said. Julianne called Corbin brilliant and talented! Bruno called it an “incredibly powerful performance.” They got a total score of 27.
Snooki Reveals Her Painful Past
Snooki revealed she used to be anorexic when she was a cheerleader in high school before dancing the jive with Sasha Farber. “You are the cutest thing in the world,” Julianne said. “Your performance level has grown beyond recognition. It was brilliant,” Bruno said. They got a score of 24.
Christina Milian danced the foxtrot with Mark Ballas. “I don’t think I’ve seen a foxtrot more spunky or sultry. Fantastic,” Bruno said. Carrie Ann said she has to work on her shoulders. They got a score of 24.
More Injuries Affect The Dancing
Amber Riley battled sore knees while dancing the tango with partner Derek Hough, but you would have never known it! “You are in fine form tonight! You were connected, you were like one person! It was crisp, clean and passionate,” Carrie Ann said. Derek’s sister Julianne said she was hoping for something to go terribly wrong so she wouldn’t be accused of playing favorites, but she said it was amazing. They got a score of 27!
Bill Engvall danced the samba with partner Emma Slate. “You are the heart of the show in my opinion,” Julianne said. “It had everything you could wish for in a samba….except timing and rhythm,” Bruno said. Not sure if that was a compliment or insult! They got a score of 21.
Corbin and Karina, Amber and Derek, and Elizabeth and Val all tied for first place while Valerie and Tristan were at the bottom of the leader board.
Week 4 — Another Elimination
At the end of the show, Valerie and Tristan, Brant and Peta, and Nicole and Sasha were in jeopardy (although not necessarily the bottom three).
Ultimately, we had to say goodbye to Valerie and Tristan.
“It has been absolutely wonderful. Completely unique, like nothing else in the world that you would ever do. It was an opportunity to carry a message to folks — not just with cancer or whatever they have — that whatever challenge, like our song tonight, keep on keeping on,” Valerie said.
