Miley has shocked, awed, and twerked — but her parents have been right there supporting her decisions the entire way. Of course her parents love her unconditionally, but Miley revealed that their support applies every aspect of her life and career — no matter what she does.
Miley Cyrus took to the Today show in New York City on Oct. 7 to perform — but not without crediting her loving parents for being there for her as she comes of age. She explained that her parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus are her biggest support system — and stand behind her through her process of discovering who she really is.
Miley Cyrus: ‘Parents Give Me Unconditional Love’
Miley revealed that she is able to go to her parents with absolutely everything — a luxury that a lot of young people do not have. Being able to talk to her parents about what’s going on in her life has really helped Miley stay focused on her career — and drown out the negative.
Miley explained she is lucky that both of her parents are “accepting and supportive.” They are accepting of who she is, and of the process of her process of figuring that out.
“Unconditional means it doesn’t depend on what you’ve done,” Miley said of their love. So sweet!
Miley Cyrus On ‘Today’ Show
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my whole life,” Miley declared on Today. She is definitely becoming more and more at peace with herself — and it’s great that she knows how lucky she is to have such supportive parents in her life.
Mom Tish even watched Miley’s performance from the Today audience!
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Do you think it’s great that Miley’s parents are so supportive of her?
