Miley Cyrus — you told Matt Lauer that you’re ‘the happiest I’ve ever been’ after your Liam Hemsworth split, during your new interview on the ‘Today’ show. Clearly, you’ve learned that it’s better to be with no man than to stay with a fiancé who doesn’t let you be you.
Miley Cyrus: Happiest She’s Ever Been After Split With Liam Hemworth
After all, you and Liam confirmed your final split on Sept. 16, and he publicly made out with Eiza Gonzalez a day later. That had to hurt.
But Miley, Liam dig aside, you have quickly learned that parting ways with an unsupportive ex really is the best thing you can do for your self-esteem.
“Miley isn’t the type of girl that’s going to conform and be this perfect little girl for Liam or anybody else,” a source close to Miley told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Miley, quite frankly you look like you’ve been having the time of your life singing your new hit, “We Can’t Stop,” at major venues like the VMAs, on SNL, and then on the Today show. Miley, you look like you’ve been set free.
And now, you don’t have to repress yourself, in order to keep Liam happy. You can do whatever you feel is necessary in order to promote your new album, Bangerz.
Liam was reportedly “mortified” by your VMAs twerking and grinding performance.
In other words, he was hardly on the same page as you, let alone supportive.
Miley Cyrus: Liam Hemworth Was Toxic For You
The bottom line is that Liam is NOT a toxic person, but he was toxic for you. You two were just so different, that staying in an unhappy relationship wasn’t good for you, Miley — and you finally realized that.
You were the one putting in most of the effort in your relationship for quite some time, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“There are some pretty huge differences with their personalities. They say opposites attract, but they can also work against them. Miley is so much more open and out there with everything, and Liam is pretty reserved and that’s something they fought about a lot,” the source revealed.
Miley, like many women who are trying to keep a difficult romance together, you could only bend over backwards for so long.
After all, it doesn’t feel good when the man who is supposed to love you unconditionally actually disapproves of you and your behavior.
Miley, you described yourself as an “entertainer” to Matt Lauer in your Today show interview. And as far as you’re concerned, all of your racy dancing, photo shoots and scanty clothing choices have been about promoting your new album, Bangerz.
Miley Cyrus: Focus on Your Career Not Marriage
“Miley’s a business-type of girl. She loves working and her biggest inspirations are her fans,” another source close to the singer has told us.
Well Miley, at 20, it’s much more important to be focused on your career than on marriage. You are doing what you perceive to be all the right things for business — and so far your efforts have been rewarded big time.
Sales of your singles “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop” have been huge, and critical reviews for your album Bangerz have been terrific.
The fact that your ex-fiancé, Liam, wasn’t thrilled for your success and bursting with pride just proved that he was toxic for you. Smartly, you came to realize that you’d be much better off being single again than trying to make a doomed romance work.
In your public appearances now, it looks like a giant weight has been lifted off your shoulders. No wonder you seemed completely genuine when you said you were the happiest you’ve ever been.
Miley, since you love being an inspiration to your fans, you should feel good about being a breakup role model too.
No woman should stay with a man who’s toxic for her. Don’t you agree, Hollwoodlifers? Let me know.
