We’re more excited than ever to see the crack team of superheroes reunite for another awesome ‘Avengers’ movie, now that Samuel L. Jackson has revealed that Elizabeth will play Wanda Maximoff aka the Scarlet Witch!

Samuel L. Jackson, who plays S.H.I.E.L.D. super-spy Nick Fury in the Marvel super hero flicks, is so excited about The Avengers: Age of Ultron that he couldn’t keep this awesome casting secret to himself. He spilled the beans about Elizabeth Olsen‘s role in the 2015 film in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, but admitted he’s not clear about whether she is “on the inside or the outside.” Read on for more details!

Elizabeth Olsen In ‘Avengers 2’ — Samuel L. Jackson Big Sequel News

Samuel is the first to confirm the rumor that Elizabeth will play the role of Wanda Maximoff/the Scarlet Witch in The Avengers sequel — due out on May 1, 2015 — but our sister site Deadline says the deal is “just a matter of formality before it’s done.”

“I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year,” Samuel revealed to The Wall Street Journal, according to USA Today. “I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen, but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”

We can’t wait to find out more details!

James Spader Is Ultron In ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

Ever since the latest Avengers sequel was announced at Comic-Con on July 20, we’ve been dying to know which new actors would join the cast. So far, we’ve been very pleased with the new additions!

We were also thrilled to hear that Emmy award-winning actor James Spader will be playing robot villain Ultron. James is an old pro at playing dastardly dudes, so he will no doubt bring a special breed of electronic evil to this role.

Our calendars are totally marked for May 2015. Yes, it is a long ways away, but we can just watch The Avengers a bajillion times more until then!

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is Elizabeth a good choice for the part of the Scarlet Witch? Let us know!
