1D is still having a field day with Miley’s VMA twerk-filled performance on Aug. 25. Watch how they made fun of her this time.
Let the twerking sensation continue! Harry Styles stated after Miley Cyrus’ raunchy twerk-heavy performance at the VMAs that he doesn’t appreciate the booty-shaking dance move, and he and the rest of One Direction slammed her once again, shaking their rear ends on stage and mocking her songs!
One Direction Mocks Miley Cyrus & Twerks On Stage — Watch
At their concert in Perth, Australia on Sept. 28 One Direction started singing “We Can’t Stop” on stage as Niall Horan twerked! Then he proceeded to yell in a deep voice “Wrecking Ball” — good one boys!
1D always has the most fun on stage, and we all remember their stunned faces during Miley’s crazy performance at the VMAs. It clearly stuck with them and they decided to have fun with it in concert.
We’re sure Miley will laugh at it though; these guys typically err on the side of good humor.
One Direction Reacts To Miley Cyrus’ VMA Performance — It Was ‘Cute’ & ‘Timid’
Plus, this isn’t the first time the One Direction guys have poked fun at Miley’s MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 25
In August, when Yahoo asked the boys about Miley’s performance at their This Is Us premiere, 1D didn’t hesitate to joke around about it. “We were shocked by how much coverage there was. I think she was shocked. I don’t think she knew she would get so much attention from that,” Louis Tomlinson said.
And Harry — despite making fun of her weird tongue movements a few days before — agreed, though he did so with a bit of sarcasm. “It was very reserved. I think she’s quite shy and it’s about time she came out of her shell a bit,” he said.
Liam Payne chimed in too, noting it was very nice. “My thought was that it was very nice. It was a nice performance. It was cute… timid,” he said.
Obviously, they were joking because that performance, as we’re sure you can remember, was anything but shy and timid.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Did 1D cross the line, or was it just funny? Drop us a comment below.
