Khloe Kardashian’s marriage struggle with Lamar Odom has had controversy at every turn, and though it may be invasive, that high level of drama may be too good for Kris Jenner and the other Keeping Up With The Kardashians producers to pass up.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians, like any reality show, relies on true life incidents for their drama, and in that case Khloe’s marital issues with Lamar are a jackpot. And the show’s execs plan on capitalizing, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“Of course they are filming the drama for the show,” the source says. “Kris Jenner sees that people are reacting to it, so why not respond and deal with it the way they do.”
It can’t be easy for Khloe to simply live with her marriage in shambles — to have to do it in front of a bunch of cameras probably just makes it worse. Then again, if anyone is used to this sort of thing it’s the Kardashians.
The real question is whether Lamar knows that his struggles with Khloe are going to end up on TV. Considering he’s still in hiding, it’s almost a guarantee that he isn’t going to appreciate the producers’ choice one bit.
HollywoodLife.com reported previously that Khloe and Kris were butting heads over KUWTK’s involvement in her marriage drama. But the bigger issue there was whether to touch on Lamar’s alleged drug addiction or not.
“Khloe is 100 percent against it, and Kris is all for it,” another source told us exclusively. “The last thing she wants is Lamar’s personal nightmare broadcast to the public — let alone her own personal issues with regard to her marriage to Lamar. But Kris sees it differently.”
Evidently Khloe is willing to let the cameras in, but maybe she will draw the line when it comes to Lamar’s personal battles.
