Between Selena Gomez‘s hook ups with Union J’s George Shelley and Justin taking romantic vacations with on-again, off-again flame Jacque Rae Pyles, it looks like chances for another shot at love — or even friendship — definitely won’t happen between the duo formerly known as Jelena, according to our source, who is close to the exes.
“They both don’t talk to each other anymore. After some back and forth and second chances, the relationship is over,” the source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They know that they will see each other again at similar functions with their careers as they are and will be cordial to each other, but a relationship between the two and even a friendship is pretty much dead in the water right now.”
Adding one more nail in the coffin, the source also added, “Justin & Selena will not be getting together to hang out, hook up or anything. That ship has sailed.” So sad.
Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Were ‘Great While They Lasted’
“Everyone has been young, everyone has been in love, everyone loses a love, this is the same thing that happens to everyone, we just don’t have a magnifying glass attached to us like they do. They are young, they had a good ride and now its over,” the source told us.
We know that the spotlight on their relationship was hard — but at least they’re both wiser after dating each other.
“It was great while it lasted, it was a learning experience and now they have moved on,” the source said.
