Prince William & Kate Middleton World Tour — Royal Family Traveling With Prince George
At just nine weeks old, Prince George has already done some major traveling.
He has been all around the United Kingdom, from London to Bucklebury, to Anglesey, Wales. He also made a huge trip to Balmoral Castle in Scotland to meet his great-grandpa Prince Philip for the first time!
Now, the royal family is prepping for an even bigger royal world tour. Kate applied for her son’s very first passport, reports The Mirror, the very first step in preparing for the family’s royal tour.
Royal Family Heading To Australia & New Zealand
So where in the world will the royal family go? “We are all very hopeful of coming to Australia next year,” Prince William told guests at the Anglesey show in Wales on Aug. 14. Australia and New Zealand are first on the family’s list!
Queen Elizabeth II needs to give special permission for Will, Kate, and George to fly on the same flight, because for safety reasons, “royal protocol dictates an heir and the next in line should not fly together,” reports The Mirror.
“When the Queen herself was eight months old, her parents went on a Commonwealth tour of Fiji, New Zealand and Australia lasting six months – leaving Elizabeth in London,” explains the site. This time around, it will be more of a family affair!
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Are you excited that Prince George will be touring the world?
