Lea’s strength is undoubtedly one of her best characteristics! The ‘Glee’ star tweeted on Sept. 23, “No matter how you feel…never give up,” showing that she’s putting on a brave face and going about her busy life while still keeping her late boyfriend, Cory, in her heart.
This is the Lea Michele we know and love! The Glee actress tweeted some encouraging words to remind herself to stay strong and carry on in the wake of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith‘s tragic death on July 13. It’s clear Lea is still grieving her loss but this emotional new tweet seems to suggest that she is finally on her way to achieving peace. Read on for more details!
Lea Michele Tweets ‘Never Give Up’ — Sad Message ABout Cory Monteith?
Lea showed her optimistic spirit by tweeting a picture of an inspirational quote that reads: “No matter how you feel… Get up. Dress Up. Show Up. And Never Give Up.”
Lea is so brave, and we think that’s a great motto for her to live by! It’s been a little over two months since Cory’s death and it seems Lea is slowly starting to settle back into her daily routine and move forward with her life without Cory.
Lea was devastated after Cory’s death and it’s definitely been a struggle for her to return to filming Glee without him. Of course she still misses Cory each and every day, but these wise words give us hope that Lea is dealing with her grief in the healthiest way possible. Good for her!
Lea Michele’s Touching New Tribute to Cory Monteith
Lea may be trying to move forward, but that doesn’t mean she’s completely forgetting about Cory. In fact, the newest tribute she paid to him — a tattoo in his honor — will last a lifetime.
“It’s in a private place, with Cory’s initials in a black heart,” a friend of Lea’s told Star magazine, “It’s something she did for herself and to always remember the love they shared.”
How bittersweet! We think Lea is so strong for holding it together. Her Glee costar Jane Lynch said at the Emmys on Sept. 22 that even though Lea is still mourning Cory’s death, she is a “champion” and a “rock star” for getting through this. We couldn’t agree more.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you admire Lea for staying strong and positive during this devastating time?
