Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Connie Britton, Anna Faris, Jessica Paré, Christina Hendricks and Cobie Smuders all relied on essie polishes for their pretty fingers at the Emmy Awards! We’re spilling the exact colors used so you can get a Hollywood look below!
Julia wore essie’s blushing bride. “essie’s blushing bride — a perfect flush of pale pink — was a flawless, rosy shade to compliment Julia’s silver, structured Monique Lhuillier gown,” celebrity manicurist Emi Kudo told HollywoodLife.com.
For Connie Britton, celebrity manicurist Beth Fricke used “go overboard” and “luxe effects as gold as it gets.”
“We wanted to create something fun and edgy so started with a coat of essie’s go overboard, then applied essie’s luxe effects in as gold as it gets on the tips, fading down onto the base of the nail, for a glamorous take on the French tip,” Beth told us.
Christina Hendricks worked with celebrity manicurist Lisa Postma. On her nails, she used “stylenomics” and “skirting the issue.”
“To keep Christina’s nails looking dark and edgy, without fading into her black dress, we layered essie’s stylenomics and skirting the issue for a glamorous and unassuming look that popped against her gorgeous, emerald accessories,” Lisa said.
Celebrity manicurist Jolene Brodeur used “master plan” on Cobie Smulders. “Cobie wanted a versatile shade to go with her various outfits for Emmy weekend so we chose essie’s master plan – a mischievous soft gray – which perfectly complemented her cream satin gown,” Jolene explained.
