‘Glee’ season five kicks off on Sept. 26 with a two-part tribute to none other than The Beatles! We’ve now learned that one of the episodes will actually be about prom nominations.
Not only is it time for The Beatles on Glee, but it’s also prom season! One of McKinley High’s glee club members lands a nomination for queen, while in New York, Rachel (Lea Michele) takes on a new role.
‘Glee’ Beatles Tribute Part I — Klaine Approaches Struggles
When Glee returns for season five, it kicks off with “Love, Love, Love” — part one of a tribute to The Beatles. We’ve seen the super fun trailer, the revealing photos and have even heard some of the music.
Below is the full episode description:
New Directions returns from their Regionals win with a tribute to The Beatles. While Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) try to sort out their relationship, Rachel’s plans take an unexpected turn.
Beatles Tribute Part II — Tina Nominated For Prom Queen
However, now that the full description has come out, we know what the title means — and it’s all about prom:
As Beatlemania continues at McKinley, it’s time for the students to vote for prom queen and king. When Tina (Tina Ushkowitz) receives a nomination, she takes on a fierce attitude that alienates her biggest supporters.
Rachel’s Adjusting In NYC
While Tina is getting an attitude at McKinley, in New York, Rachel has a new focus.
Meanwhile, Rachel adjusts to a new attitude of her own, as she and Santana work at a Broadway diner to make ends meet.
We know Dani comes into the picture during episode two in New York — so, is she a waitress with Rachel and Santana? Is Rachel adjusting to the life of a waitress because she didn’t get the part in “Funny Girl?”
