Cheryl, 29, spoke out about her ‘DWTS’ partner’s medical condition and how he’s coping — read on for all the EXCLUSIVE details!
For many celebs on Dancing with the Stars, stage fright is enough to deal with. But for Jack Osbourne, 27, he has another obstacle to overcome: dancing with multiple sclerosis. Fortunately he has a great partner, Cheryl Burke, to lean on for support — and HollywoodLife.com has the exclusive scoop!
Cheryl Burke: How Jack Osbourne Is Coping With MS During ‘DWTS’
Cheryl has been on DWTS for years now, so she knows what it takes to win the Mirror Ball. She also is super supportive when it comes to her partner, Jack, having MS. HollywoodLife.com caught up with Cheryl EXCLUSIVELY at the Wendy’s Ultimate Viewing Party with Cheryl on Sept. 16 to talk all about it.
When we asked her if it’s been an issue during practice, she quickly replied “no.” We’re so happy to hear that.
“No, not that I have seen yet and I hope I never see it, I hope he is always is up front with me. I know it comes out more during high stress, so anytime he needs a day off or needs a few hours to be with himself or take nap, I want to know,” she told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
So sweet and supportive of Cheryl!
Cheryl Burke’s Biggest Competition On ‘DWTS’
Cheryl went on to explain how Jack’s MS is extremely motivating. We asked her who she thought their biggest competition was — and her answer surprised us!
“I would honestly say, it sounds cheesy but I think it is ourselves! I mean Jack is in a whole different category. Other people on the show have dance experience which is fine, but he has no dance experience whatsoever and he is also dealing with MS,” she said. “He is trying to show awareness for that and I have never had someone that is doing something for a bigger purpose then just winning the competition. It brings me so much motivation to work with someone like that!”
Jack was diagnosed with MS when he was 26 in the spring of 2012.
We’re so proud of him and we know he’s going to do great, especially with a partner like Cheryl by his side.
